Watch again: the women’s 1500m rounds at the 2024 World U20 Championships

World Athletics has published a full sequence of the women’s 1500m heats, semi-finals and final from the 2024 World U20 Championships. The upload is dated 29 October 2026; the competition shown is the 2024 edition.

Following the rounds in order offers a broader view than watching only the final. Athletes must first navigate qualification, then prepare for another race against a field narrowed by the earlier stages.

Middle-distance racing combines pace with position and timing. A runner can reach the closing lap in a different situation depending on the decisions made much earlier. A complete sequence of rounds gives viewers an opportunity to see those changes develop.

The player carries World Athletics’ original coverage. This post does not identify the footage as a current championship or add an unverified result. The event year remains explicit so that a newly published archive video is easy to distinguish from today’s competition.
