Shorts: the last-ball drama as Nigeria edged Uganda

The ICC’s official short captures the final-ball situation in Nigeria’s one-run victory over Uganda in Abuja. Published on 26 October, the clip returns to a finish in which Uganda needed three to win or two to force a tie from the final delivery.

Nigeria completed a perfect sub-regional qualifying campaign, while both teams advanced to the next Africa Regional Final. That progress is a step on the route to the 2028 T20 World Cup, rather than direct qualification for the global tournament.

The short supplies the decisive moment. Montage Africa’s longer cricket report places it within the tournament and explains why the qualification stage needs to be named precisely.
