The Judiciary Workers Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has ordered its members to begin a nationwide strike motion from midnight of June 1, 2025. The union communicated the strike motion by way of a round from its nationwide headquarters in Abuja.
The round signed by Appearing Basic Secretary, M.J. Akwashiki directed all federal chapters of the union to remain dwelling as at June 1, 2025.
“This directive follows unfruitful conferences within the occasion of the Minister of Labour and Employment who was conciliating on our matter”.
“We imagine that as directed by the organs of the union, Nationwide Working Committee (NWC) and Nationwide Government Council (NEC) of our nice union, the motion will proceed till additional discover”.the round said.
JUSUN’s calls for included the fee of 5 months owed wage awards, the implementation of a proposed ₦70,000 nationwide minimal wage and a wage wage improve of 25% to 35% for judiciary employees.
