Montage 99.7FM has announced the launch of the Montage Live Experience Valentine Edition, a live entertainment event aimed at redefining the station’s identity beyond traditional radio broadcasting.
Speaking during an interview, the Head of Station, BJ Borango, described the initiative as a major evolution of the Montage brand, positioning it as a lifestyle and media company rather than just a radio station. According to him, the concept brings everything listeners love about Montage music, comedy, entertainment, and audience engagement into a live, immersive stage experience.
Borango explained that unlike conventional concerts familiar to Abuja audiences, the Montage Live Experience is designed as a cultural innovation that blends entertainment with social interaction. The event is scheduled to take place on February 14 at Farm City, Abuja, and will feature live music performances, comedy, talent discovery, and interactive social activities.
One of the major highlights of the event is a talent show segment, where participants will compete for prizes worth up to ₦5 million. In addition, the Valentine edition will include a matchmaking special, with ten carefully selected couples matched after a screening and selection process. This matchmaking initiative, which currently runs on Montage radio programmes, will be extended to a live audience format for the first time.
Also speaking, the Event Team Lead for Talent and Content, DJ Drex, noted that while full details of the programme are being kept under wraps, the true essence of the Montage Live Experience can only be fully appreciated by attending the event in person.
The Montage Live Experience forms part of the station’s broader strategy to expand beyond radio into live entertainment and lifestyle experiences, creating culturally relevant events that connect directly with its audience.
According to the Head of Programmes, Williams Wisdom, the show will feature some of Abuja’s finest talents alongside vibrant artistes, delivering a memorable celebration of love and music
Meanwhile, the Head of Logistics and Operations for the Planning Committee, Dickson Osagie, confirmed that all arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees. Organizers are confident the event will deliver top-class entertainment for music lovers across the Federal Capital Territory.
Earlier, Montage Radio announced Koboko Master and Gesiere as hosts for the Valentine edition, with music stars Ric Hassani and GoodGirl LA set to headline the event.
The Digital Content Planning Committee Lead, Giesere Anugwa, alongside the Marketing and Publicity Committee Lead, Dotun Babatunde, encouraged Abuja residents to secure their tickets online at www.liveexperience.montagefm997.com ahead of the Valentine’s Day celebration, which promises a day filled with music, entertainment, love, and excitement
