Abuja – The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ondo Governorship Primary Appeal Committee has started its sitting in Abuja, reports Punch.
This follows the receipt of two petitions by the committee from aggrieved aspirants.
Muusa Umar, a member of the committee confirmed this on Wednesday.
Although an unconfirmed report claimed that the committee had received seven petitions, Umar could only confirm two.
He, however, said there were some petitions submitted to the party’s national secretariat which the committee was waiting to receive.
The party’s primary election, which was won by Rotimi Akeredolu has been dogged by controversies according to News 24
Many of the aspirants are calling for the cancellation of the exercise.
