Fashion Entrepreneur Says Quality Output Will Boost Industry

A creative directors of “Noble & Secks” clothing line, Joshua Okonoboh has stated that, quality finishing of designs can help develop the Nigerian fashion Industry.

Okonoboh in a telephone interview with on Thursday in Abuja said, “To succeed in this industry you need to go for knowledge and research on the best hands in what you want to venture in, according to Agency reports.

“And in your production, go for quality because its quality that makes you get referred and recognised just like we were recommended to Jidenna, `Mr Classic Man’, the Nigerian-American crooner.”

“People are already used to old brands like ‘the Okunoren twins’, ‘KolaKuddus’, Yomi Casual.

“If you are going to pooch long term clients from these guys, you would have to have good quality, good speed and good timing.

“Going to a place where the big boys are known and you want to be on that pedestal, you would have to have quality that would match up with what’s being put out.

“Then people would know that you are a good and professional brand and you would offer good quality for their money.”

When asked the challenges he faces as a young start up making corporate wears and African designs, Okonoboh said, “Getting your name out there is a big challenge.’’

He however said that the brand would soon go into large scale retailing before the end of the year.
“So far, the brand has featured on platforms like ‘Foot Prints to Africa’.

“Our team recently met with the team from Savile Row England a London based tailoring brand and is looking forward to partnering with them, he said.

NAN reports that the brand which has been operating since 2014 has since styled celebrities such as Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Steve Harris, Mikeal Moore and recently the ‘Classic Man’ himself, Jidenna.

Here are some of the remarks by the celebrities they styled; Richard Mofe Damijo said, “Memories are made of these!”

Jidenna said, “Buying was extremely easy, they understood what I wanted perfectly and I definitely recommend.”

Steve Harris said, “Buying was seamless, absolutely got smacked and I recommend them, Guaran- damn-teed!”

Mikeal Moore said, “I came to Nigeria and they designed and delivered to me 3 outfits in 2 days, if you need to get your clothes go to Noble & Secks.”(NAN)
