Biafra agitation is non-negotiable, insists MASSOB

Abuja – The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has insisted that it will not be part of any negotiations to end agitation for Biafra.

According to a Naij report, the group has stated that it will not renege on 17 years of struggle for Biafran actualization, while frowning at the inclusion of its leader’s name as part of a delegation set to embark on negotiations with the Federal Government.

“We condemn and reject the inclusion of our leader’s name, Comrade Uchenna Madu as one of the trusted persons to negotiate for Biafra on behalf of Re-IPOB with FG,” part of the statement read,” a statement released by MASSOB’s National Director of Information, Samuel Edeson, read in part.

In addition, Edeson’s statement went on further to note that MASSOB’s image will not be tarnished by being dragged through a “dirty mud of propaganda”.

The group has since lambasted splinter group, Re-branded Indigenous People of Biafra (REIPOB), advising them that agitation for Biafra in not a business venture, Pulse reports.
